Default what tweeter for Usher clone

Anyone knows what tweeter would go with Usher 8948A woofer ? I'd like to build a Usher Be-718 clone and from what I saw that beryllium tweeter is not to be found for sale, so I'd like something as similar as it could get. Has anyone tried a similar implementation ?
Thanks a lot !

A lot of people use the Peerless 810921 HDS tweeter and Usher T-9950 tweeter in kits.
I would look twice at this ceramic tweeter from Visaton.

Good ideas, thanks.
I'm not sure I've ever heard a ceramic tweeter before but that Visaton tweeter looks promising.

Hi,

FWIW the Usher domes are basically Titanium, with other metals added,
including a small amount of Beryllium, painted to look like Beryllium.

Best performance versus cost :
Vifa DQ25SC16-04, 1" Titanium Dome Tweeter: Madisound Speaker Store

(a lot) pricier option :
SEAS Prestige 27TTFNC/GW (H1461) 1" Titanium Dome Tweeter: Madisound Speaker Store

rgds, sreten.

8945A Versions of Usher 7
Usher 8945P 2-Way

Are a good place to start regarding the needed crossover.

Default RS28A...

If you can get a Dayton Audio RS28A, it is a virtual copy except it's black aluminum.

Later,
Wolf
