DIY Center speaker, max height 6½ inches!

Hi people

I am looking at building a center speaker for my surround setup. It will only be my second self-made speaker ever (the other being a Boominator). I was thinking of using one of the kits from Parts-express.com but since I live in Denmark the price of shipping is quite steep! Can anyone recommend a similar kit which can be bought in Europa? Or just speakers similar to the Dayton ones used in the below links?

Due to space requirements (cannot be taller than 22 cm's at the front, 11 at the back and no more than 38 cm's deep) I was looking at these two kits:

Triune Center Speaker kit
Cynosure Center Speaker kit

though I would probably remove two of the speakers from the Cynosure kit to reduce the price, and then simply rewire the crossovers to match.

As you might be able to tell I am a bit clueless as to what I need to do. Could you help me?

My budget is around 100$, 200 at the most. This is only for the components, I have wood and tools in my shed.
