Default 96DB Woofer home use

can anyone tell me if there is a 96DB Woofer for home use that can handle a 150-200w RMS amp ?

i only find Pro woofers that can do it.

Depends on where (and why) you put the limit between pro and home drivers...
And it also depend on the frequency range you are trying to cover.
TAD TL1601 or AE TD15M would probably be good candidates.

Nope!

8"s that do 96dB don't do 40, more like 100Hz bottom end if you're aligning for most bandwidth on the 8", and need a dedicated 12-15"woofer.

My processor has a bass limit setting; I’d be going through drivers every month with it. HT action scenes: Gun fire and Explosions – yikes! (Sending 200 watts to each 8” sub).

In the case of the TD12M you mention above, a closed box alignment with a Q of 0.5 will give you a resonance frequency of 66.6 Hz at a -6 dB level. A Q=0.707 alignment will give you a resonance frequency of 94.2 Hz at a -3 dB level. These levels are anechoic, therefore they will be better in an actual room, still they are unlikely to cover the LF extension you seek. You will have to use reflex loading and/or a woofer with a lower resonance frequency.

i have 2 active subs to take care of business under 80hz , whatever i choose will replace my old JBL woofers that went down to 40hz but with lower spl 90db , i´m looking for something with better spl cause the jbl speaker always sounded to bright for my taste. i believe that woofers 96db , mids 92s db and tweeter 90 db is the best choice for my taste and room.i´m also concerned that the replacements behave good in midbass. the jbl woofers are good but they cant stand the volume levels i sometimes listen , i already replaced them once.
