Excel Crossover Design
Iíve completed a group of Excel Spreadsheet Crossover Design Tools. These tools allow you to calculate two-way series or parallel crossovers based on complex impedance driver models. The latest version now use input-output routines based on VBA macros. In addition to allowing 1st thru 4th order parallel circuits and 1st thru 3rd order series circuits, the tools allow additional filter sections (series and shunt components) for impedance compensation circuits (Notch, Zobel, sheving, attenuators, etc.). There are presently versions using 540 data points (about 4 MB file) and 100 data points (about 1MB). Also included are two other design tools to allow you to generate target functions and a tweeter modeling tool that allows you to derive the driver impedance parameters based on T-S values or conversely to calculate the Qes and Qms values based on measurements.
I have split up the geocities web sites to try and limit access restrictions. Hereís a breakdown of file locations:
Descriptions and downloads for the Two-Way Series Crossover Design Tool
Descriptions and downloads for the Two-Way Parallel Crossover Design Tool
Home Page / Descriptions and downloads for the Target Function Generator and the Tweeter Modeling Tool.
My apologies in advance for any delays associated with Geocities. If you experience any difficulties in downloading any of these files, you may contact me at:
