Default WM61 mic help

Hi, I find the mic is clipping at about 127db SPl . Please advise can we enclose the capsule in a small size plastic pipe 6mm dia and close its mouth and calibrate it for high spl is it ok to go with this .

Enclosing it in a pipe won't help. You can do the "linkwitz mod" to get a few extra dB, but small capsules are not really meant for high SPL's. You really need a half inch or 1 inch condenser for that, but they don't have as good high frequency response. Depending on the application you can use a dynamic omni or even a speaker.
