Show me a response with both drivers tested together. You may not need any xover.

Fooled around a bit with crossover points and found the best overall response with the woofer crossed 2nd order at 500 Hz. Seems I have a floor bounce or something at 500 and 250 hz...

The use of the horn might be forgiving for any problems with phase. Distance between horn/drivers is something to consider, so that a lower frequency xover vs on the upper side, might be beneficial. Last edited by Inductor; 16th September 2011 at 12:52 AM. |

The woofer is Seas A26RE4 (pdf in first post) and wideband is Scan-Speak 10F. As of now the bass is OB but the back of the speaker will be enclosed in studio foam in the near future, so it will be kind of a hybrid between OB and aperiodic |
