Default The newly introduced LS3/5A from Audio Space is the closest to the real thing ??

What are the audible experiences?

Hey,

haven't heard it but to see some measurement of it might help:

Gini Systems "LS3/5a" loudspeaker Measurements | Stereophile.com

" the closest to the real thing ?? "

I would guess - no.

Hi,
(@fabel) Your post is confusing,
do you mean the Gini or the Audio Space ones.

(@tiefbassuebertr, all) "The cabinets use solid premium wood like ebony..." (This,) Like (very) high compressed wood composites it must perform very well. (I´m)Talking about the cabinets here and it's construction insides, that I don't know but looks good. Many times it depends of the designer or industrial practices, relating with the new chinese speakers that don't use them so much.

Hey,

ups, may be the third link in the initial post is the reason for this confusion....

The Audio Space seems to be distributed/build by a different manufacturer. But it might not be better then the Gini?

There's something funny,
on this first site, it states, next to the picture,
"Audio Space LS-3/5A,... The cabinets use solid premium wood like ebony. Components are higher-grade parts" 6moons audio reviews: AudioSpace AS-3/5a, Charisma Audio Function stand
on the next site, on top:
"Audio Space LS 3/5A Resurrection of a Legend!
High grade plywood cabinet & wood veneer finish" Specification

Unless they are not the same thing, could be different edition, local or manufacturer; or could just be a marketing/printing mistake...

I wish they would leave the little ebony which is still around to makers of instruments where the use of solid wood actually makes sense. The trees which provide ebony are threatened by extinction due to illegal logging. The guitar maker Gibson is currently already in deep trouble for possibly using illegally logged ebony and rosewood.
The Lacey Act of 1900 (US) has been amended in 2008 to include trees, it covers not only using some woods in production but also ownership of the finished product. Many musicians will not travel to or from the US with their favourite Gibson guitars because they may well be seized by customs.

The same might happen to some audiophiles when/if they travel with their speakers...
Very sad (not a problem for the Chinese, I think) and in the opinion of Ethan A. Huff the "Gibson raid part of effort to extinguish American workforce, outsource jobs"
