I have a pair of mach5audio mli 65's lying around that I'd like to pair up with some tweeters for rear surround speakers. Any suggestions? A crossover design to go with them would be nice as well. Budget..$50-75 for tweeters and crossover components. (drivers were only like $50-75 total, so don't wanna go too crazy with the other components) Thanks guys!!

I never posted what I did with them...here they are, used as surround back, left and right.
Mach5audio mli 65 Dayton DC28f 1 1/8" silk dome tweeter Dayton audio grade cap, and air core inductor. Dayton Gold plated binding posts 3/4" Baltic Birch, mahogany stain simple 6db/octave BW 3000hz crossover point If these were being used as main speakers, or anything but surround backs, i would have done a more elaborate crossover network. But this one seems to work fine for the application. anyway here are some pics! the start of them... ![]() cut out..drivers mounted. ![]() edges routed / rounded ![]() coat of stain... ![]() all finished ![]() in place on top of my 38hz tang band mini horn subs...one on each side of the couch
