Default Desktop speaker decision

I want to change my desktop speakers again. And need some advice. This advice also helps me to train my hearing.
I am running a Harman Kardon HK 770 it is too much for the minimus 7s without attenuating. I don't like loud but want as much dynamics as I can get. Speakers are in nearfield position on my desk.
I had considered Optimus LX5 MKII but am not sure if the 360 Linaeum tweeters complicate the listening field. I also have available a pair of NHT super zero or a pair of JBL 18t.

Try flipping your Minimus 7's over so the tweeter is on the bottom.....
