After "building" my Rythmik sub, I think DIY is the way to go
Now I am looking at the ZAPH ZRT, I was wondering if there was any commercial designs using both these drivers. Using Usher X-719 speakers looking to upgrade these ...

Are there Krell speakers that use a different tweeter than that pointy one?

I'm not saying they use both in a single design, but IIRC Sonus Faber uses scan (or some variant/specialty made) in some of their products.

I haven't heard a pair. But are you asking in order to demo a pair first?
I've heard reviews that say his designs sound "dark". That's as much as I can contribute

Just to get a reasonable idea how much these would be if were used commercially. The Kit is "expensive" given the number of drivers you get, so I am just trying to justify my purchase if ever
Dark... I like dark, Laid back and warm.. should be perfect

My DIY center uses the same drivers as the ZRT in an electronically crossed over configuration. Very, very nice sounding. My L/R also sound good but use Eton ceramic/magnesium tweeter with almost the same midwoofer (4 ohms rather than 8 ohms). I've never heard better drivers.

p.p.s. They might be considered dark if they are placed close to a wall as Zaph uses full boundary compensation which emphasizes the lower midrange/upper bass. I don't use his crossovers as I use miniDSPs for crossovers and equalization.
