Hello, I am new to this hobby and are about to build my first speakers.
I am using the Peerless HDS tweeter also known as D2608/913000 from Scan-Speak, and the Seas CA22RNY 8-inch woofer. I have been thinking about how to start this project, I am an engineer in electronics but need to refresh some knowledge before I feel confident with this. I have looked at the drivers data and decided to use somewhere between 2kHz and 2,5kHz for the crossover to join the drivers. "Salas" on this forum built a speaker with those drivers that got me interested, but since he used a cabinet from another speaker and adapted the construction to it, maybe it is better to make a cabinet with different measures. It is 45 litres using a vented port. I really would like some input here to make it a good speaker. Ty for reading. |
