ALE Acoustic WA-4000 Woofers Thiele Small Parameters
Could you guys help me evaluate the Thiele Small parameters of the ALE WA-4000 woofer?
I found the information on a Japanese ALE dealer's website. These parameters did not necessary come from ALE. Check out this link: ALE Acoustic - Woofer WA-4000 Woofer Specifications Diameter: 40cm (TAD1601b compatible), Bandwidth: 26 to 1KHz, Impedance: 8 Ohm, Maxmum Input: 100W, Output Sound Pressure Level: 98dB, Magnetic Density: 15,800 gauss, Weight: 25kg, Note: alnico magnet, Made in Japan WA-4000 T&S parameters Fs: 34.57Hz Qms: 5.15 Qes: 0.23 Qts: 0.22 Vas: 33.66(liter) Re: 5.11(ohm) Mms: 65.26(g) Cms: 325(um/N) Bl: 17.58(T.meter) What seems strange to me is that how can the Vas be 33.66 liters. That is VERY low. The Cms is also VERY low. The Fs is 34.57Hz but the specs said the Frequency Response is 26Hz-1000Hz. Is it even possible that the Frequency Response is below the Fs?
