Hey everybody. A few weeks ago I purchased a pair of the later EV 12TRXBs, which have the large white cast aluminum baskets. I know many of them are 16 ohms, but these are 8 ohm models. Im wanting to upgrade the capacitor in the crossover but unsure of which value I need. Ive read the 16 ohm version needs a 3.3uF. What would the 8 ohm variant need? Ive heard that an 8 ohm driver will need double the capacitance in the crossover vs a 16 ohm. Sorry, Im somewhat new at this, sol please bear with me
