I'd love to have a pair of those speakers

Rip out the guts, melt the thing down to a proper bar then go buy some plywood.

Makes about as much sense as a cell phone with diamonds on it... gems and gold on the outside, cheapest electronics possible on the inside. Such a deal!

Looks like an awful waste of a precious mineral. Could be put to better use on electrical connections that are subject to potential corrosion. Or also used to help prevent corrosion of relationships!

Peace,

Dave

Hard to tell from the pictures but if the drivers touch the gold their baskets will rot away quickly due to electrolytic corrosion.

This is the best way to invest your money, in a gold pair of speakers. Last year the gold price increased by 30%.

Indeed you are correct!

I think gold is for those who can't quite afford diamonds in this instance?!

Peace,

Dave

He, he, bad move from me. I forgot the verb to avoid.

But yes, considering the diamonds the best, the second one can lead to some corrosion of relationships since the first is electrically neutral...

regards,
