Product information:B4N bass-midrange I just built a HT setup using these in sealed boxes... Very good but best ported for use without a sub. Frank Last edited by frank1; 4th August 2011 at 09:42 AM. |

Edit, sorted now. Got the ZMA and FRD files for the Wavecor WF120BD04 and the D2905/9300 and having a play with Loudspeaker Design Software
Anyone got the FRD/ZMA files for the CA12RCY or SB12NRXF25-4? Last edited by inrank; 4th August 2011 at 10:56 AM. |

Being sealed or ported does not matter really from a crossover design point. If you see a design you like that's ported, then simply make it sealed. Keep the cabinet height and width the same and you're good to go.

Finally got some data FRD/ZMA from Seas on the CA12CY, seems to go well with the ScanSpeak D2010 tweeter!

Cheers, would probably just make my own anyway though.
Currently weighing up this diy project vs just buying a pair of SCM7's. In total with the CA12RCY or Wavecor and D2010 or D2905 or HDS tweeters etc and box, crossover components, gets very close to the £300 i could spend on a used pair of ATC's. |

Good point, sometimes it is useless to DIY.
500£ for a new SCM7. |
