Default 1" MDF sorce?

I'm in BC, Canada and can't find a supplier. Even Windsor Plywood can't get it!
Where can I get my hands on two 4X8 sheets?
Thanks for any ideas!

We eschew the use of MDF, so haven't really looked into sourcing it. Chris has said he can get 1, or thicker on special order.

I'd just look to use 18mm Baltic Birch. All round about the same stiffness, but better damped, stonger (and lighter) than 1 1/4" MDF. You can get that at Windsor.

Barring ply, you'd likely be better off laminating 1/2 or 3/4" Particle board to 1/2" MDF.

I want to build Onken cabinets. I have thought of laminating but I don't think I want to spend the extra time.
Thanks Dave, I'll look into the Baltic Birch.

In NZ we can easily get 3, 4.5, 9, 12, 18, 25 (1") and 30mm MDF.

Mind you, we do make an awful lot of it ;-)
