I have made many diy speakers project. The best sounding from all speakers i used are Seas excel W26fx001, W15ch001 and T29cf002 tweeter. Expensive drivers but they worth it.

There are no best speakers, but there definitely are beloved ones for specific duties...
What are you looking for? 3way? Price, size, sound signature? |

I used to love the sound of Excel drivers and AMT's.... until I found this:
B&G RD-75. Almost fullrange, 150-18k

Woofer ... not found yet. Need lots of $$$. I dream of SEAS LROY
Midrange ... Fountek FW146 Tweeters .... Vifa DQ25 (with phase shield removed) I've heard (not owned) the excels, various comp. drivers, etc.
