Fellow diyers,
I am a person with bronze ears. Sudden loss of interest to sound quality - who else? I still love DIY, but due to lack of time, I prefer simple design. No: 5-year project for ultimate-fi Yes: 1-week project for a-little-more-than-no-fi I am thinking of building a simple and easy desktop speakers, mostly for PC music. I am going to use them for background music while I work. I currently have el-cheapo almost-noname pc speakers without a sub, I think it's frequency range is like 120 Hz - 16kHz. So I want a little bit more octaves. Could anyone recommend me an OB 2-way design better-sounding-than-el-cheapo pc speakers? I will put them on the desk or on the wall, so the size should not be too big. I will be happy as long as it sound better than $20 pc speaker. I have a few amps, I think I will use gainclone. Thanks, Doug |
