Default Focal Specialists I need your help Audiom 7V313 MIDRANGE

I Have a pair of rare 7V313 Mids from the late 80 s .

They are paper cones with a giant magnets .

they are supposed to be very good mids

Does anyone know any specs on them ?

How good are they compared to the 7K2 or 7 NV2 Audioms ?

Would anyone be able to help me with a freq resp. graph ???

All the best and thank you for all help

Very nice to have a team of audiophiles that can help

I have several pairs of them... very popular when they came out.

Nice sounding mids... I no longer have a freq graph that I can put my hands on.
As I recall not terribly flat.

iirc , fs around 75hz... Qt probably 0.32 VAS likely around 1 cuft... sensitivity was a legit 93dB/1w... I used two in parallel for ~99db... still have the cabs.

somewhere I have the specs, but who knows where?

I may have misspoken on that, I may have the 7V513 drivers. But the 7V313 were similar in many regards.

Fwiw, the 7V513 had the first of the "glass" (beaded) cones that Focal put out. Just before they came with the "W" cones. Which afaik was about the same thing...

There ought to be some archive of Focal specs online somewhere??

Focal 7K vs 7V

Compare polyglass, paper with balls to keyvlar ? Focal places keyvlar better the than polyglass. I know the sound of the two, because I played with the two kind of drivers. The paper is less precise and much more forgiving, more musicality. The kevlar has more details, more precision. I think they give all very good results. It is a matter of taste. Personally I prefer the polyglass, it's my personal taste.

I think it is polyglass but looks like paper to the eye.

Were the 7NV2 mids an improvement over the 7V313 mids ???

They 7NV2 go a bit lower but I m looing for a good mid only
