Guys, I want to pursue something like this:
Bass cabinets But I need better plans. Is there anything else out there like it? Seems pretty ideal for blending with my Unity horns at ~300hz....and it goes down low (enough - 45-50hz). Thanks! Jim |

Dual 15 PPSL is probably your best be to match up with a Unity Horn as it will provide uniform dispersion between the sub and the horn.

Moray, can the dual 15 PPSL run up high enough (300hz or so), frequency-wise, though - and if so, does it sound good that high?
Thanks for the idea. -Jim |

The PPSL should be able to reach up to 300Hz, but it really depends on the drivers and the geometry of the cabinet's slot.
I don't think I agree with the above statement that the dispersion is necessarily going to match between the two sections. |

Guys, given my application, what would be the recommended PPSL design and 15" driver complement?
Thanks, Jim |

Expo 15 since this is what you were asking for I think.
Info on how to blend a PPSL woofer with a Unity Horn about as good as it gets. William Cowan's Homepage look under heading of Unity Horn. Best regards Moray James.

Guys, I like Eminence drivers...how about plans for 15" Eminence Kappa PPSL? I've done a LOT of searching and can't find actual plans for such cabinets.
Thanks, Jim |
