Hey.
I'm going to use the combo in my car, I'm going to run it active and use the crossovers in my headunit and possibly on the amplifier. The components I'm thinking about: Mid/Woofer: Peerless 830657 6-1/2" Paper Cone SDS Woofer Tweeter: Vifa NE25VTS-04 1" Silk Dome Tweeter And would a crossover like this be a good starting point: MID/Woofer - HPF: 50hz / LPF: 2000hz Tweeeter: HPF: 1500hz Not sure about slope yet. And yes I know about the difference in impedance, they will be connected to different amplifiers. Would this MID/Woofer and Tweeter work good together? |

Anyone used one of these components at least?
Suggestions on perhaps better components that are better for about the same price? |

At those frequencies you'll want to use a steep slope. Why the 500 hz overlap?
Other than that I say go for it. |

That was a typo, I meant HPF: 2000hz for the tweeters.
Regarding the slope, 18db or 24db? |
