The Sansui's have to be worth $40 even with the suspect driver layout.
The large Advent's in the 'nice' cabinets might be a little pricey as the woofer surrounds will likely need refoaming but they are a good speaker and if you can get them for say $200... |

Some people really like these speakers, and they weren't terrible is my recollection of them..

They usually have some rather nice Atomix drivers. The box is likely too small for the woofers, but they likely are quite extended (in the right box should make a good helper woofer for a FAST). I'd consider them a source of some interesting drivers.

FAST = Fullrange And Subwoofer Technology (althou there are a couple other expansions of the TLA)
FR with helper woofer(s). Most FR OBs are now FAST. Start here: A thread for Tysen and variations on FAST And then do a search. Lots on this subject This current thread is getting into FAST discussion. How good must full-rangers get to replace 2-ways? and this one: Why not full range with a subwoofer? And another example: EL166 MTM ML-TL dave

The 6700s weren't bad at all (I've always quite liked Sansui's gear). Well worth $40.
