Do You have any idea what would be the cost of drivers (I suppose 6 of them)?
I was thinking about building something like this.I also thought about a clone of Altec Model 19.There are plans for the enclosure and drivers are easy buyable on Ebay.I also found schem. for ALK crossover as an up-grade of La - Scala. Can you recommend enything? I want high sensitivity ,huge dynamics, extremely fast, life like sound.

You can read more here LaScala mod . This mod works best with other drivers than the K-33E. I've used the JBL 2226H. The backchamber is enlarged to 4.8 cu.ft and tuned to 30Hz.

Reviving an ancient thread for a relevant question

I've built a lascala bass bin with the djk mod integrated (thanks djk, it works nicely). I've been using a dcx2496 so any of the 'shaping' necessary to the bass is easy. I want to get the dcx out and I am wondering if anyone knows the details of what djk has in mind for the passive circuit.

I've searched like crazy and I guess I'm hoping djk is tuning in

Crazy Yankee.

Hi guys,

What is the frequency range of the bass & will it go up to 500hz?

I want to put a round 50cm midhorn on top of one of these.
