Looking for recommendations on a woofer.
I have a pair of Dynaudio D28/2 and I want to build an active 2-way with them. I have a MiniDSP that I've used on another pair of speakers I've built with some Vifa drivers and I really enjoy those so I want to try another pair. I'm going to use some digital amps like the Hifimediy T3, or the ClassDAudio SDS-254 to drive the speakers. I'm looking for a woofer to go into this and I'm looking to try something a little different. I was thinking of going with the Seas ER18NRX (reed papaer cone) but that seems a little boring so I started looking at some of the prosound woofers in the 8-10" range. Something like the B&C 10NW64 or the Audax PR240M0 seem to be more interesting to try out. Does anyone have any recommendations on these types of drivers or any suggestions at all to go with the D28? Thanks. |

So I'm going to go with the Beyma 10BR60 and the D28/2 each drive by their own channel from a Hifimediy T4 to build something like the Dynaudio BM15A.
