I have an idea for a smallish 2 way speaker that may be used nearfield.
This is the woofer: Tang Band W5-704D With this passive radiator: Dayton Audio SD215-PR 8" Passive Radiator And this tweeter: Dayton Audio DC28F-8 1-1/8" Silk Dome Tweeter The crossover would be 12 db @ 3500hz. Passive radiator would be side mounted with Vb between .5 and .75 cu ft. I have run a sim for it yet. I'm looking for impressions on the overall concept and if anyone has experience with this specific woofer in regards to it's suitability to it. Thanks in advance |
