Ping Freddi!
Have you ever placed a Karlson tube (like the ones I have seen on compression drivers, just with 12" sewer pipes) behind an OB? I just put a pipe ~120° open in the direction of the driver behind a U-frame OB and I like the sound. Not measured yet and surely far from perfect, but voices with more substance, but not boxy (not BBC style), a bit open, but not too much. If one likes it more dipoly one can place a tube behind a flat OB. What do you think? Last edited by el`Ol; 15th May 2011 at 04:30 PM. |
