The speaker is 5 feet tall. The tweeter is near the top, and the 12" just below. I imagine it firing over your head.

I agree with the post that says they are kinda ungly, certainly not much imagination.

Yes, but like everything, there are good and less than good drivers and flares. A sane starting point for a CD is the B&C DE250 and the JBL Ewave flare.
Hi Brett
Someone selling the Gedde's Nathan kit on SNA could you use it for mid & treble an add a pair of 15"s or a 18" driver for bass duties .

hi all
i agree with those that say the design is basic with not much imagination ,but i for one prefer this look (shoot me but i also like the crome dress rings as well)
kinda like a osbourne grand monument plain looking but special in its own way

i also belive that as long as it works then why does it have to look fancy
it looks like the old style jbl and such bookshelfs big mean and loud but i think knowing the designers other products that it would also have a level of finese as well

hi 56 i,m just dreaming at the moment but the torana is about to go on the market and i will have some spare cash soon for my ultimate blow my room apart project ,big ,bad ,and ugly and using some 18 or 21" drivers of course !!!

got any pics of yours mal i,m keen to see them post them in this thread if you like

cheers sheafer

those threads and blogs are incredibly funny, Heinrich had me in tears

and i do tend to agree the things are just plain boring, but rather ostentatious. if spending money on rings like that i would go for titanium anyday

Me jealous? ML was thrown out of his own company Mark Levinson Audio Systems by Harman, Cello went bankrupt, his sexy wife left him (apparently the book they wrote together did not help)
