I built a speaker similar to the Legacy Focus. I have used the same drivers as used in the production models. Do they sound good, YES. Could they sound better, with your help yes. I am getting some raspyness on the edge of femal vocals and higher pitched male vocals. I am suspecting the Audax low tweeter. There is also a bit more sibilance than I am comfortable with. Is it in the original recording(s), I will have to find that out. I was reading that the TW034X0 may need some help by the addition of a LC network. I am awaiting the arrival of my XLR cables so I can hook up the Behringer mic and do some sweeps to see what is really going on. If anyone has any information on the crossovers, I would like to compare yours to what I am using. Thank you for reading.
