Default baffle construction Frustration

I'm convinced the Dayton ND20-FB is a demonic design. I finally got it but have never created so much scrap wood in my life. Someone tell me there is an easier way. I finally built my own router jig out of 1/4 plywood but still had a tough time.

A hole saw to size or just under is effective. Sand away the excess until you have the required fit.
