Default Audio Physic Spark III crossover - how to get to?

Hello:
I *think* I blew a capacitor in the crossover, that or the tweeters which I have to check still. But I'm guessing it may be the crossover. Does anyone know how to get to the crossover in these speakers? I read somewhere its behind the binding posts but it doesnt appear to be easily removed (the metal plate where the binding posts are).
thanks

thanks!
attached are the spark III's - listened to them quite loud last night for extended period so possible crossover resistor or capacitor got too hot and blew? I am going to remove tweeter in a little while to test if they are maybe the tweeters.

Sorry, i can not help you on that. That was made after i left in 2004. You can mail Mr.Diestertich, the new designer at Audio Physic. Sorry, i do not have his e-mail adress. Maybe you find it on the website.

I think good news (somewhat) is that the tweeters are blown and not crossover - - I took one tweeter out, still soldered and put a music source to them. Sound came out of one of the mids but not the tweeter so I'm guessing its the tweeter right?

IIRC, the MR/treble x-over in my Avanti IIIs were behind a MR driver, but...

...first unsolder one wire from the tweeter (be sure to heatsink the terminal) and test the resistance of the tweeter. If the voicecoil is open, the tweeter is junk.
