Hi All
I have a set of JBL Control 1G. Which I use in a back up system in my office.

The I decided to replace the spring clip terminals for banana sockets, due to the clips becoming weak over time.

Whilst taking the speakers apart, a managed to break the tweeters capacitor. The capacitor has no rating on. as part of my upgrade I think I shall replace the x-over completely (any excuse for me to get the soldering iron fired up

)

Question 1
Does any one have any idea what the speaker parameters are please?
Question 2
Anyone have any suggestions for a like for like 1st order 6db crossover please?

No markings at all? Pull the second one out and measure it.

How would you have "like for like" if someone suggested an alternative crossover? Do you really think a new random crossover would be better than what the factory designed?
