Default Improved Bass from wharfedale cabs?

Hello I have some slightly defective wharfedale linton 2 (one blown tweeter) that I was originally planning to fix. However they sounded a little thin so I decided to investigate...

f-3dB = 95Hz!

The woofers are aprox 7" with a 210mm frame and 185mm cut out (diameter) in 18.81L (sealed). I am probably going to do something similar to the econowave speakers with them so sensitivity is not too important, I would like to get down to at least 50Hz. Anyone know of a suitable woofer replacement?

actualy It seems speakers are mesured usualy from the edges of the basket making these 8" woofers.

I have managed f-3dB of 52Hz using Visaton WS 20 with two of them in compound isobaric. Despite a total of 4 drivers this seems a good cheap solution:
VISATON|WS 20 E|WOOFER, HI-FI 120W 8R | Farnell
Visaton - Lautsprecher und Zubehör, Loudspeakers and Accessories

my concern is that the rear radiation pattern of the woofers won't be good upto 1KHz.

I have a pair of Linton 3, but with blown midranges. Want to rewire the crossover to make them into Linton 2, AFAIK, the woofer and tweeter are the same in both speakers as is the cabinet size. Can you post the crossover of your Linton 2s?
