Hi all,
hoping someone can help with specs on some drivers sourced from an old Technics quadraphonic system. I'm hoping to build the drivers into a more wife-friendly cabinet than the current box, which are quite large and include similar lattice grille to some old Sansui's....but in plastic! The drivers are all marked with EAS and 8 Ohm and model numbers as follows: 7HH01S, 9PH44S, 25PL14SA. I also have the drivers from the 2 smaller bookshelf speakers that made up the 'quad' system - these are 16PL58SB, and 5PH15SC. I have worked out that the first number refers to the diameter in centimetres, but want to get an idea of output etc. A distinct lack of info on the internet (which may mean the drivers are not worth keeping). Also, I know it is a big topic, but any suggestions on an easy cabinet design for a first-time builder? Cheers, Hodgie. |
