I am planning a two way using the 2235h.
The JBL enclosure guide (enclosure #8) recommends a 5 cubic foot box tuned to 30hz. Any experience out there with this alignment? Opinions? Thanks. |

A little bit of discusion of it over here:
Google Image Result for http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=40645&stc=1&d=12468197 33 (hope that links works) That was the standard volume for the 4430 and other theater cabinets. You could certainly vary the box size and tuning over a moderate range and get different response. You should try the parameters in a standard woofer box program. David S. |

That alignment is very good. I use that in my 4344 clones and if you look at it in a box program you can run them at almost full rated power all the way to the 30hz tuning point.
