Ok, so what I'm after is a formula to insert into winisd, to simulate a 2db/octave room gain function.
Thanks......... |

I don't know about winisd but this was posted a few years back on the Parts Express forum by Paul V..........
1)Go to the link below and download the RRC program 2) Set the frequency scale to 1 hertz to 1K and the reflection coef to .9 for all six 3) Switch the room to feet and set the dimensions 4) Place yourself and speakers (the woofers) at you XYZ places 5) set frequency space to 24 and the reflections to about 16 6) Calculate. That curve is damn close to your room gain with room modes included.... FRD Consortium |

Thank you ![]() EDIT, oh yay. Won't install/run under Win7 64. Oh well, might have to cobble together a clunker pc with xp for this. Last edited by Old'n'Cranky; 3rd April 2011 at 12:38 AM. |

Have you tried XP emulation mode in Windowss 7? I have no experience with it myself but thought I'd suggest it in case that would work for you.
