Default Usher 9950 really better than 9930 ? what am I missing ?

As per the data sheets the 9930 has less overall distortion and a smoother frequency response than the 9950. The 9950 has bit lower Fs. Here are the datasheets. They include THD charts as well -

9930
9950

So why is the 9950 more expensive ? What am I not understanding ?

When you cut of the 9950 at 3000Hz the 9950 is smoother and has lower 3th harmonic then the 9930.

but the 9950 has higher 2nd order all throughout. wouldn't that count against it ?
and the lower 3rd order applies only 4khz+.

if -3db is at 3kHz then also the distortion will be half the value.

Even harmonics are sound wise not bad at this low level it could create false detail.
