Sooo, im thinking about doing an OB design for acoustic reasons and easier to build. just wondering if anyone has some good sites or anything to read about the actual design process.
i also take it their is a lot more tweaking of the system to get it to sound its best. any comments welcome Dion edit: on second thoughts i like me bass so even though i have a sub, i think im going to want it sealed in. Last edited by DionG; 22nd April 2011 at 11:24 AM. |

Hey I was thinking of using the 830883 OB between 350 hz and 2500hz. I am using an Sb29 tweeter. Do you think that would work ok?

Zaph tested the 830883 here..
Zaph|Audio Click on the "830883", then the TS perimeters button near the top, right of the page.

Looks OK, But does anyone know how it sounds? From what Zaph says he likes it but it's very hard to compare with other stuff out there. I was hoping to do that.

I'm using four of them(two per channel) in a 5 way active system. They are only being used to cover one octave though(80 to 160hz).
