Default driver distance requiring shielding

How close, generally speaking, does a driver have to be to a TV before it is suggested that the driver be shielded to avoid damage to the TV?

Every driver is different in magnetics.
I would suggest doing an experiment
with your particular drivers. Hold one driver
in hand and slowly walk to the TV
(turn it on) until you see colors manifest.
You don't want the colors.. /hehe

I have a driver with an uber-neo magnet
that plays havoc from 3-4 feet away.

... but be careful, I've messed up a TV big-time like that and it never fully recovered.

Reminds me of a fight to the death that I once witnessed between a negative ionizer and a digital clock. Total destruction for the loser, I'm afraid.
