Default Question regarding my SONY TA 1055

Hi Guys!

I'm Adam, new here. I have been a vinyl collector for many years and finally bought myself a decent system, Marantz 6300 turntable and a Sony TA 1055 Amp. But I am having issues finding the right speakers. I'm not very educated in electronics and am clueless on what type of speakers would be ideal with this system. I currently have some plastic DUALs I bought off amazon hooked up. But the right channel sounds fuzzy. A friend told me I have the wrong type of speakers, something about the OHMs.

So... what in your opinion would be a good alternative speaker? Keep in mind that I can only spend about $60. Though on Ebay you can find some awesome deals.

Adam
