Hello,
I'm a newby here and this is my first post. I'm interested in building a speaker kit for near wall application (12 to 18 inches). I'm interested in top quality components for this application. I'm somewhat interested in the North Creek Rev/Rev Big Kat and possibly it's little brother the Kitty Kat monitor but I suspect it may not satisfy(???). Can anyone recommend any other kits? Have any of you built this speaker, and what are your experiences? My room is approximately 14 feet by 14 feet with an 8 and a half foot ceiling. I'm currently using a modded Sansui AU20000 Integrated Amplifier (160WPC). I listen primarily to Classical Music, everything from String Quartets to Symphonies. Imaging and dimensionality are important to me. I would like Bass at least to the mid 30s. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Rob in Historical Utica, Michigan |
