I am planning to build a 211 single ended tube amp for my B&W N802. This is only 15-18W per channel. Considering N802 has only 89dB, is this sufficient to drive it?
What about 845 single ended tube amp with 24W output? Although 845 has higher power, 211 is much better in details. |

Does not sound like a great idea at all and not just because of the sensitivity. Guess you already knew it. A push pull 211 would do fine though.

I like SE of its details. Perhaps I should ask in the tube amp section for their opinions too.

B&Ws are generally quite power hungry and benefit from higher power amps.
