Question Any sugestions for a compact 2 way kit?

Hi,
I'm planing to build a loudspeaker kit for a gift.
It should be a compact bookshlef with high efficiency. I planed to match it with a TA2020 amplifier or TA2024. This is going to be for an easy and begginers listening, but nice.
I've seen several in diferent web sites, such as the Zaph ZA5.2 at madisound, or the CT 2213 useing mission's speakers at lautsprechershop.
Also considered a 4" or 3" tang band full range + tweeter.
Well, I'm quite open to any idea or suggestion, and gladly welcomed.

You should check out the Parts Express Indignia. It started out as a group project over on Audio Karma then Parts Express picked it up to offer as a kit. I built a pair and they sound great. There was probably more testing done on that speaker then any other in history, as there was so much input throughout the project until PE started offering it.

Thanks DJN!
May be the 7" woofer makes a rather bigger box than what I'm looking for. Nice kit nevertheless...

Dimensions: 14" H x (8" Front, 4.5" Back) W x 11.8" D. That does not seem so big to me. Any smaller and you really won't have any bass. You'd need a sub.

Creative Sound Solutions - Loudspeakers, Parts and DIY Speaker Kits sells a number of EL70 or FR125 + ERT26 kits. Either of these can be fit into an LS3/5A size box. Bass is quite satisfying

Why spend so much with oversea travel and taxes ?
Beyma Professional Loudspeakers
Just look at their products . What else can be said ?
I would say that a COAXIAL with high sensitivity and an associated crossover

would project you to another planet !!!
