Default Pioneer HPM100 Recap & Modifiction

So I just wanna see if there are folks out there interested in that topic. I've been into these Pioneers for a while. They are built buy what is TAD today (professional dept. of Pioneer) and designed by Bart Locanthi who was head of engineering of JBL. This is not your plastic Pioneer WallMart stuff :-)
I did some work on them incl. pics which I'm happy to post if there is an interest. If not (tube freaks) a 92+ dB speaker on a 300B SE rocks!!!

This was the message I just posted before my DSL modem started to reset. So it's there. Good!

I'm interested enough to respond. I have a pair of HPM-900s in near mint condition - they're back in the boxes right now. They were in the exercise room but got bumped by a pair of Wharfedale CS9s. They do have better bass, but the Wharfedales just sound better overall. I've been planning to do a crossover upgrade sometime on them, but have decided they really need a crossover redesign, which is beyond my abilities. I think part of the problem is that the woofer is not rolled off by the crossover, and the crossover components are pretty wimpy. I think the drivers have a lot of potential.
