Default Need HELP!!!! POLK AUDIO MONITOR 30

Hello Masters
Just got this polk monitor 30 speaker yesterday from newegg. remove the crossover section and found out 2 electrolytic caps w/c values 18uf 50v & 8uf 50v.Can I change this to a polypropylene capacitor ?

Polys will last longer and may possibly be closer to stated values. But don't expect to hear an improvement in the sound quality, if that's why you're making the change.

If the caps are used anywhere near the midrange and treble then you'll definitely hear the difference using better caps. And no, they don't need to be the hyper expensive ones - electrolytics just don't belong in speaker crossovers.
