I've been looking to build my ideal monitor for my small room nearfield (about 1m) music mixing application...

I have decided that I want a small, sealed box. Sealed it will be.

Coaxial speakers are probably even more significant when the listening distances are small. The relative distance between the ear and the woofer/tweeter becomes more significant/detremental, as the listener (balance engineer) moves back and forth, from to what I understand.

I modelled the Beyma 8BX in WinISD and the results are promising... -3 dB @ < 60 Hz in a 1 cu.ft. sealed box. Exactly my goal. I don't need lower extension for this project.

Can anyone give me preferable options for a relatively wide nearfield listening environment with a sealed, compact two way design?

Post some results when you're set.
People say that's a nice (acurate?) driver to enjoy.
