Greetings!

Anyone help me out? I'm setting up my system again and each component has an issue. Needs a proper overhaul. I've not had it running for some years due to pesky kids.

1. Celestion Ditton 15 - Can't open the cabinet! Somewhere inside something is loose & the nuts on the inside of the bolts holding the speakers must be loose cause the bolts are just turning continiously. Cant seem to open em up!! Does the cab open or do i need to remove the speaker? Can I get in through the back? How can I get those speakers off!!

2. Technics TT with SME arm - the connector to the arm is loose. Iv'e not looked at it recently but from memory it seems like a clip of some sort is missing & I got it attached to the colum below the arm with a cable tie. Plus the pitch control has had it.

3 Cyrus amp - Lots of crackle at low volume from the volume knob.

Any comments would be appreciated (including ones like 'this guy knows nothing' & 'what a muppet' etc etc)

I gotta get this sorted CANNOT TAKE MP3's ITUNES ANY MORE NEED TO DUST OFF MY 1000 BEAUTIFUL RECORDS!!!!!

Ps Should be a top system, bought it all second hand in UK on the cheap - Dittons £10 charity shop 1995, Cyrus £30 in some little electrical shop on Calidonian rd 95 & the Technics with SME £90 from a mate in 1990.
