For one econowave project.
I prefer waveguides to horns, tractrix or other flares. Much cleaner sounding.
Some of the econowaves use mid bass drivers in a box from 40hz and xover at 1400hz to the wave guide.
My 10" B&C driver goes from 100hz to 1400hz. Below 100hz is a sub, 2 more subs would work better.
I use a 1" B&C driver on a 10" DDS ENG I 90 waveguide.
Lots of way to make an econowave with pretty good constant directivity.

Helmuth!
You must take "Directivity" (on-axis), "Constant directivity" and "Combined response" in consideration when designing a hornreflex. In this case they do not match!
Explain further revintage what I do wrong?
