Default I think you'll enjoy the "value" of this one..

6moons audio reviews: Kiso Acoustic HB-1

Yes, that's right - a MINIMUM 13,800 Euros, not including stand, for a small loudspeaker using:

A little 4 inch Peerless midwoofer and a Fostex FT17H.

(..lubricant not included.)

Oh, by the ad on page 3 or 4, I found this more interesting:

6moons.com showcase: Anthony Gallo Acoustics

I haven't seen such "line array" arrangement.

Wow!

Interesting looking tweeter.

it has to be pretty bad if 6moons says it is too esoteric.

I wonder if the people who buy these speakers actually realize how much the drivers really cost.

Quote from their website. "When you match the "HB-1" with other suitable high-end audio components and set it up well, it will result in an extremely large, but well defined sound-stage where the timbre and tonal qualities of each musical instrument and/or voice are clearly defined for "an illusion of being present at the original recording event" type of experience"

It's nice to know they consider these normal drivers high end.

Have you priced Koa lately? I did every day when I lived on Maui. It ain't cheap.
But as it is likely just a veneer, the price difference is just as crazy as the speaker price. At least they are consistently crazy.
