Generally , we use closed box for a independent enclosure for midrange driver.
But I found that Sony SS-AR loudspeaker using scanspeak drivers has a hole in the back of the enclosure of the midrange. (In back of the tweeter actually) ![]() It seems no to be as a vented box just for air balance or something... Can anyone tell me the concept or theory about it? Thanks a lot. |
