Hi there!
First appearance here after a long time reading and learning... I have the opportunity to get hold of a 2 Beyma 15G400 speakers and 2 B&C DE750-8 compression drivers at a really cheap price and I would like to know what do you think about building a 2 way active high SPL and quality loudspeakers. First of all, what do you think of the synergy of both drivers? Are they suitable? I am thinking about crossing over at around 1.2khz, no problem with this issue so I would be using a digital processor, and am able to make some measurements with Smaart. How do you think that they would sound? And finally, wich horn do you think that would best suit the compression driver? I donīt intend to use the speakers as a mobile set, they would be installed in a place and donīt move. Thanks in advance for your collaboration. Antonio M. |
